     On September 17, 1999, the door‘s opened at Dearly Beloved's for the first wedding in the beautiful, log chapel, bringing to Middle Tennessee a first class facility for weddings, receptions and other events.
     Dearly Beloved's is the brainchild of its owner, Lana Robinson. In early 1998, Mrs. Robinson decided to use her expertise to fill a need she had discovered many years earlier while assisting her late husband, Judge Gale Robinson, as he performed weddings at homes, or gardens or hotels or whatever site the couple had chosen.
     Equipped with her experience in directing weddings, working with numerous charitable and political organizations in planning events, as well as her own social activities, Mrs. Robinson embarked upon a plan to design and build a wedding chapel with its own reception area which could also be used for other events. Before the building was completed, potential clients were visiting the site and planning for their events to be held at Dearly Beloved’s.
     Since its opening, Dearly Beloved’s has become the standard by which all are measured. It has been chosen by television producers as the location for an episode of The Simple Life, Ambushed Bride and Fox 17’s TN Mornings. Being selected as the site of choice for major television productions reinforces what couple after couple has discovered at Dearly Beloved’s -- it is, indeed, Nashville’s premier bridal event site.
